According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 68 million tons of paper are used in the United States every year. This is a staggering number with a momentous impact on the environment. As such, when Christy first started Kimiko Concepts, she knew it was important to create stationery only from recycled materials and sustainable fibers. Christy took the time to seek out eco-friendly materials for her cards that are also high quality and refined.
The mulberry paper, our signature paper, is one of the most sustainable fibers in paper making. The branches of mulberry trees are harvested annually without destroying the trees, allowing it to be a truly renewable source. All the other paper materials used to create Kimiko Concepts stationery are FSC certified 100% recycled post-consumer materials or made from sustainable fibers. We've even invested in Energy Star printers to print the cards.
In everything we do, Kimiko Concepts keeps the impact on the environment in mind and we encourage you to do the same.
