Christy Dillard launched Kimiko Concepts in October 2010.

Christy is a 27 year old Southern California native with a B.A. in Studio Art from St. Kate's University. She started her eco-friendly card line because she enjoys being creative, has fun designing cards, and is passionate about protecting the environment. In everything Chrisy does (from recycling to using reusable bags at the grocery store to using energy saving appliances), she tries to be conscious of her environmental impact. I guess you could say it's a life philosophy that she tries her best to live by --- which is why all her cards are eco-friendly. Outside of work, Christy loves soccer, hiking, most anything to do with nature, and her black lab, Lyla.

In June 2011, Christy's sister, Allison joined Kimiko Concepts to help with the business and financial aspects of the growing stationery shop. Allison has a B.A. in English and Mathematics from Scripps College and an M.S. in Mathematics from Claremont Graduate University. Spending family vacations backpacking through Yosemite and Mammoth with Christy, Allison shares her sister's passion for helping the environment. Outside of work, Allison plays soccer, hikes, and has fun with her 1 year old daughter, Zoey.
